What’s Happened Since the Flint Water Crisis?

After lead was found in the water and the impact on the community was tremendous, many may have forgotten about the Flint water crisis in Michigan.

There are pending efforts to hold people accountable. Some have called it mismanagement and others have labeled it environmental racism. BNC correspondent Stephanie Bertini traveled to Flint for an up-close look at where things stand today and how the lives of many residents were forever changed. “We need to know behind a shadow of a doubt that this water is safe,” resident Deborran Kelley said. With all that has happened in the city, she says it’s hard to trust the city.
