Breaking Down Hate Crimes Guilty Verdict of Arbery’s Killers

On the eve of the day that marks two years since Ahmaud Arbery’s murder, a jury found Travis McMichael, Gregory McMichael and William “Roddie” Bryan guilty on all counts in their federal hate crimes trial.

Jurors deliberated for just about four hours over the course of two days. In the end, they declared what so many believed to be true that the men already convicted of murdering Arbery did it because he was Black.
