Law enforcement is under fire in North Carolina after an off-duty officer shot and killed Jason Walker, an unarmed Black man, in Fayetteville on Jan. 8.
“BNC Live” host Tashanea Whitlow says the events leading up to the shooting are still being disputed, as officer Jeffrey Hash claims Walker jumped on his vehicle just before he was killed. Whitlow is joined by correspondent Jenyne Donaldson, who says a nurse who rendered aid to Walker disputes the officer’s claims, saying the victim was walking across the street when he was struck and then shot to death.
