Miya Marcano’s Family on Her Death, ‘Does Not Get Easier’

It’s been just over a month since the body of 19-year-old Miya Marcano was found, and her family continues to be heartbroken about her death.

“Our lives are completely changed. My soul is shattered,” said Yma Scarbriel, Marcano’s mother. “Does not get easier — does not. I don’t think it will get easier.”

Her father, Marlon Marcano, mother, Yma Scarbriel, and their attorney, Daryl Washington join BNC’s Stephanie Bertini to discuss how they are coping and the unanswered questions about her death.
