Howard University Protester Describes ‘Disgusting’ Conditions

It is day three of student protests at Howard University, where students plan to stay camped out at the Blackburn Center until school officials meet all their demands, including better housing.

Howard student Ty Davis joins “BNC Live” host Najahe Sherman to discuss the ongoing sit-in and frustrations that brought protesters to this point. Davis says there are roaches in the cafeteria, dorms have flooded and one girl allegedly had mushrooms growing in her shower, among other inhumane conditions. As far as repercussions, Davis says she’s not worried and “we have not violated any student code of conduct.”

All this and more on “BNC Live.”
