Megan Thee Stallion Is Not Only Getting A Popeyes ‘Hottie Sauce,’ She’s The Restaurant’s Newest Franchise Owner

Calling all hotties!

“The Hot Girl Coach,” Megan Thee Stallion, just announced her upcoming collaboration with Popeyes, bringing us a new sauce, The Megan Thee Stallion Hottie Sauce, along with co-branded merch as part of a limited-edition collection. The Grammy-winning artist, and now Popeyes franchise owner, put on her chef’s hat and worked closely with the brand’s culinary team to develop the exclusive Hottie Sauce, inspired by her sweet, bold and spicy personality.

Teasing us with a Western-inspired video, Tina Snow, Megan’s alter ego, is featured as the Hottie Sauce bandit. In the ad, Megan is chasing Snow from her hometown of Houston to Popeyes‘ home base of New Orleans to secure her sauce.

But the hotness doesn’t stop at the sauce. Current Popeyes Rewards members and anyone enrolled before Oct. 18 will receive 100 bonus points, exclusive information and early access to the limited merch drops.

The Popeyes x Megan Thee Stallion merch will feature three exclusive releases. The first collection, Thee Heat, includes bikinis, long-sleeve shirts, hats, tumblers and Popeyes chicken tenders plush dog toys, all dropping on Oct. 19 at Popeyes and Thee Stallion will also be making a six-figure donation to Houston Random Acts of Kindness

“I’m appreciative of Popeyes’ commitment to empowering Black women and look forward to opening Popeyes Restaurants,” Megan Thee Stallion shared in a statement. “Teaming up with Popeyes is such a milestone in my journey and evolution as an entrepreneur. I’ve always been a fan of the Popeyes brand, and I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to join the brand and help create the new Megan Thee Stallion Hottie Sauce for their lineup.”

“Popeyes’ one-of-a-kind partnership with Megan Thee Stallion goes well beyond the average marketing collaboration. We are unifying two pop culture icons, and Megan’s innovative, creative and entrepreneurial vision is at the core of everything we’re doing,” adds Sami Siddiqui, president of Popeyes Americas. “For the first time ever, we are changing our famous Chicken Sandwich to add a sauce that was custom-made with and for Megan. We are launching three new lines of merchandise designed by Megan to capture her one-of-a-kind style. And, more than that, we are thrilled to welcome Megan to the Popeyes franchise family and look forward to working closely with her over many years as she begins her journey as a restaurateur.”

Two years ago, the iconic Popeyes Chicken Sandwich sparked hysteria, with eager customers standing in long lines to sink their teeth into the sandwich. The franchise was overwhelmed by the extreme number of sandwich orders leading them to sell out of inventory across the U.S.

You can already taste the heat on the original chicken sandwich and the brand’s new nuggets. Fans are equally excited, celebrating the only way we know how, through jokes and memes on social media.

Here’s what they had to say:

It’s safe to say that with Meg’s new finger-licking Hottie Sauce, Popeyes could soon be selling out of another product.
