Did you know that broadway actress Aunjanue Ellis is a member of Delta Sigma Theta? Ellis is a proud member of the Gamma Psi Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.

Aunjanue Ellis is an African American stage, film, and television actress. Her career started in theatre before she made her film debut in Girls Town. She has a great reputation in the industry and has played many roles throughout her career.

She is best known for her film roles in Men of Honor (2000), The Caveman’s Valentine (2001), Undercover Brother (2002), Ray (2004), The Express: The Ernie Davis Story (2008), The Taking of Pelham 123 (2009) and The Help (2011). In addition, she had recurring roles in The PracticeTrue Blood, and The Mentalist. She has won over five awards including an AAFCAA Award, Canadian Screen Award, and Gracie Award.
