Rihanna, Still In Awe Of Her Billion Dollar Empire, Said She Just Wants To Keep Giving Back

With a net worth of $1.7 billion and an empire that includes her Savage X Fenty and Fenty Skin lines, Rihanna is still in awe of how far she has come.

“It’s tricky because it’s hard to even accept that’s where you’re at because I know where I’ve come from,” the artist and business mogul recently told The New York Times.

While she has emerged as a global icon, the Barbados native is focused on inspiring and giving back to her community.

“It feels good to be able to inspire young women and boys, who like me, come from humble beginnings, who come from parents who are immigrants or who are immigrants themselves, to be able to do this,” she said.

The star also mentioned her respect for Black media.

“I have to come to the Black media because you guys have an audience that I respect and an audience that is huge fans of mine,” the “Umbrella” singer said in an interview with Hollywood Unlocked at her Savage X Fenty Vol. 3 showcase in New York City

Speaking with The New York Times during her latest fashion show, the 33-year-old said she is focused on prioritizing inclusivity with her new Savage line.

“I love people that are confident and people that want to represent their space in this world,” she said. “That’s what the show is all about: representation.”

The singer is also using her fortune to strengthen her Clara Lionel Foundation. The organization, named after the artists’ grandparents, provides funding for emergency responses to natural disasters.

“Every dollar I make, I want to give it back,” Rihanna said. “When it comes to people who need help, it hurts when I can’t do as much as I want, so now we’re just putting our foot down and CL.F. is about to grow in a way that I’m really proud of.”

The artist, also known as Robyn Fenty, launched Fenty Beauty in 2017 to provide a cosmetics company that made “women everywhere [feel] included.”

The world-famous entrepreneur is upholding her promise while rising up the ranks of the wealthiest people on the planet. Rihanna is now the wealthiest female musician in the world, Forbes reported. She is also second behind Oprah Winfrey as the richest female entertainer.
