The next phase of R. Kelly’s sex trafficking and racketeering trial is set to begin. The prosecution called its last witness today.
Cheryl Mack testified she first met the singer in 2005. In 2009, she testified that she introduced an artist named “Precious” to Kelly. He and “Precious” began working together at his home studio outside of Chicago.
She testified Kelly was concerned about the harassment lawsuit because he was preparing to make an appearance at the 2010 World Cup in Africa.
