The former district attorney for the Ahmaud Arbery case, Jackie Johnson, has been indicted on charges of violating her oath as a public officer.
BNC’s Ayianna Crystal brings details about the charges from Atlanta, GA and the family of Arbery is happy about the indictment. They believe this is a good step and the district attorney should be held accountable. Although this charge won’t bring Ahmaud back, the family is happy that change is coming to Georgia.
Johnson is facing misconduct charges for the murder investigation of Arbery who was the 25 year-old Black man fatally shot while jogging in a Georgia neighborhood last year.
