Alabama Councilman Called to Resign After Using N-Word in Public Meeting

There are growing calls for the resignation of an Alabama councilman who used the N-word during a public meeting.

BNC Correspondent Jimmy Marlow has the latest details on this developing story on “BNC Live” with Shannon LaNier and Tashanea Whitlow. The councilman, John “Tommy” Bryant, was being confronted about his wife’s posts on social media based on the topic of race. He was then caught on video saying, “The n-word. The n-word. Let’s get to the n-word. Hey. Do we have a house n—– in here? Do we? Hey. Would she please stand up?” Both Democratic and Republican politicians in the state are now calling for him to resign.
