LZ Granderson Becomes the Latest Journalist to Leave ESPN

Journalist LZ Granderson has decided to leave ESPN after 17 years.

He made the announcement on his Instagram page, stating, “I knew this day was coming. In fact, I planned for this day three years ago when I signed my last contract. I told my friends then I was ready. I knew I was just scratching the surface. I just lacked the courage to bet on myself. Comfort has killed more dreams than the grind ever could.”

Granderson joins Aisha Mills on BNC to discuss why it was time to leave ESPN and being tolerated in the workplace.
