Hearing Scheduled for NJ Man Whose Racist Rant Was Caught on Camera

Edward Cagney Mathews is facing charges after being caught on tape making racist remarks to his neighbor.

Mathews challenged people to show up at his door in the video and he even gave out his address. 100 people showed up to accept his challenge, and now Mathews is being scheduled for a hearing.

Justice Correspondent Candace Kelley stopped by “Start Your Day” to explain the legal charges. According to Kelley, Mathews will be in court to face bias, intimidation, harassment, trespassing, stalking, drug and weapon possession charges. Once the video went viral, others came forward to talk about the harassment they experienced from him.
