Dr. Eddie Glaude on the State of Being Black in America

Marc Lamont Hill speaks to renowned professor and author Dr. Eddie Glaude about the viral video of Staff Sergeant Jonathan Pentland harassing a Black man in South Carolina.

Glaude says that Pentland, who’s been charged with third-degree assault, was declaring that the “neighborhood was a white neighborhood.”

He adds that parts of society have been “emboldened by Trumpism” and that policing in America ignites Black trauma.
