Lawsuit Alleges Louisville Police Lied About Footage in Shooting of Breonna Taylor

A new lawsuit filed on behalf of Breonna Taylor’s family says the Louisville Metro Police Department may have lied about body camera footage leading up to Taylor’s death.

The 26-year-old was in her bed when police rushed in with a no-knock warrant on March 13, 2020. She was shot five times and killed. The family’s attorney Sam Aguiar said that he has not received the body camera information he requested from the police, and he wants a judge to order the department to release it. BNC Chief Legal Correspondent Dr. Laura McNeal joins “DC Today” with Del Walters to discuss the story.
